The Molasses Flood, a group of industry vets that have worked on games like BioShock, Halo and Guitar Hero, have revealed the stretch goals on Kickstarter for their new game The Flame in the Flood.
The Flame in the Flood, for PC and Mac, is "rogue-lite river journey through the backwaters of a forgotten post-societal America. Forage, craft, evade predators." It also says that the player will "Travel by foot and by raft down a procedurally-generated river as you scrounge for resources, craft tools, remedy afflictions, evade the vicious wildlife, and most importantly, stay ahead of the coming rains."
You'll play as Scout, a lone wanderer skilled in wilderness survival. She'll be accompanied by her canine companion, Aesop.
The Kickstarter goal for this game is $150,000, and as of this writing, they're at $160,796. And so, they announced stretch goals. Here are the stretch goals listed in the latest update:
- $175k – We add German, French, and Spanish localization
- $200k – Raft customization
- $225k – We add Russian, Portuguese, and Polish localization
- $250k – Enless Mode
- $300k – PlayStation 4
- $350k and beyond – Two more stretch goals in mind, to be revealed if they reach PS4 level.
My guess is that one of those two more stretch goals is a Xbox One version.
