This War of Mine — a gritty war game in which you do not play as an elite soldier, but rather a group of civilians merely trying to survive — is set to release on November 14, 2014. It'll be available on PC.
Celebrating the release date, a new gameplay trailer was released showcasing the struggles you'll face in a besieged city. Lack of food, lack of medicine, and a constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers, This War of Mine provides a gritty experience of war from an entirely new angle.
I've had the opportunity to preview This War of Mine on several occasions, with the latest giving me hands-on time for 12 in-game days. I didn't do so well.
