Did you buy Escape from Dead Island in hopes of getting into the Dead Island 2 beta? Well, it looks like the beta codes been put in to the Dead Island 2 beta site and the beta's FAQ page revealed a special tidbit.
The general things we should get out of the way now are: there is no release date for the beta and you can change what platform you want it on.
The special tidbit that was revealed? Well, that's only for the PlayStation 4 owning folk. If you select to play the Dead Island 2 beta on the PS4 you get access to it 30 days before Xbox One and PC users do. Dead Island 2 was originally in development from Techland studios, but their focus went to Dying Light – leaving Yager Development to develop the game.
If you do a bit a theory crafting, an exclusive beta like this could mean exclusive content in the future.
Dead Island 2 is set to release in April 2015 on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
