Assassin’s Creed: Unity patch 4 should improve framerate

More details coming next week

Assassin's Creed: Unity's next patch should improve the framerate and other technical issues that have plagued the game since its launch November 11th. While we don't yet have official patch notes, Ubisoft gave a brief overview of what's planned for patch 4.

"Work continues on Patch 4, which should bring improvements to the framerate as well as additional fixes," Ubisoft said. "We’re still testing some fixes in Patch 4, so we’ll have a more detailed preview next week."

As an apology to players for the problems since launch, Ubisoft has promised a free game to those who purchased the Season Pass and has given everyone who has purchased the base game free access to the Dead Kings DLC that will be released later on. The list of free games to choose from includes: The Crew, Far Cry 4, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Rayman Legends, and Just Dance 2015. Ubisoft hasn't yet detailed how you can redeem your free game yet, but promised they are working on a web-based solution for submitting requests and distribution.
