EA posts strong Q3 FY15

Electronic Arts announced the financial results for the third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2014, revealing net revenues that "exceeded" previous guidance.

For the quarter, EA generated a net revenue of $1.428 billion. On a trailing 12 month basis, EA had a net revenue of $4.337 billion of which a record $2.178 billion was digital.

But while dollar signs look good on paper, we — as gamers — care more about the product. And judging by the incredible gameplay stats released by EA, fans loved the sh*t out of EA games. EA released a lengthy infographic highlighting key stats for some of the year's biggest games, including Dragon Age: Inquisition, FIFA 15, and The Sims 4.

While the full infographic can be viewed below, here are a few quick stats worth mentioning:

Dragon Age: Inquisition – Most successful launch in BioWare history. 113+ million single-player hours logged.

The Sims 4 – 10+ million Sim families created.

FIFA 15 – Over 3.3 billion goals scored.

Battlefield 4 – Over 2.1 million game time sessions were played in Q3.

SimCity BuildIt – 22 million downloads to date. Reached the top 5 iOS game downloads in more than 100 countries.
