The trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak gives a glimpse at what Stephen King found “f–king terrifying”

I'm expecting lots of blood...

Guillermo del Toro's upcoming horror film, Crimson Peak, is going to be really scary. If anyone know scary, it's author Stephen King — and he found it scary. Actually, he found it "f–king terrifying." Those were his words that he tweeted when he said, "Was treated to a screening of Guillermo del Toro's new movie, CRIMSON PEAK, this weekend. Gorgeous and just f–king terrifying." So I'm going to agree with King. King followed that up with, "CRIMSON PEAK electrified me in the same way Sam Rami's EVIL DEAD electrified me when I saw it for the first time way back in the day."

From watching the trailer, I can already see that Crimson Peak is hauntingly beautiful, and we're in for quite the horror treat. Releasing this October, Crimson Peak has an amazingly talented cast that includes Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, and Charlie Hunnam. The official synopsis is:

When her heart is stolen by a seductive stranger, a young woman is swept away to a house atop a mountain of blood-red clay: a place filled with secrets that will haunt her forever. Between desire and darkness, between mystery and madness, lies the truth behind Crimson Peak.
