Google has revealed the wireless service that will seamlessly blend WiFi and data networks from both T-Mobile and Sprint, the goal with this service is to bring our mobile devices the highest-quality connection regardless of where you are.
Traditionally, your phones connect with one network's tower. Project Fi will give you access to two 4G LTE network towers, meaning more connectivity at a faster speed.
The base Project Fi plan starts at $20 a month and includes:
- Unlimited domestic talk and text
- Unlimited international texts
- Low-cost international calls
- Wi-Fi tethering
- Coverage in 120+ countries
After that, you pay $10 per GB of data (1GB is $10, 2GB is $20 and so on), with no annual contract. If you don't use the full amount of GB you pay for, you get money back at the end of the month.
The most basic package would have you paying $30 for the basic plan with 1GB of data. Learn more at Fi.Google.
