Accidents happen all the time, games release with odd bugs like chickens wearing buckets, NPC's have no faces or even male Sims getting pregnant. All of these are real bugs, the most recent of which being men getting pregnant in The Sims 4.
The Sims 4: Get to Work expansion brought a lot of new features (like alien abductions!) to the game and with those new features, plenty of fun (slightly annoying bugs).
Get to Work's more annoying bug was alien abductions happening one after another, all the time. This can be slightly annoying, but that's not all that was happening. The abducted male Sims were coming back from their abductions… Pregnant. Male pregnancy in The Sims is nothing new, you can find cheats for it online, but male pregnancies without the use of cheats is new.
Since the reports of post abduction male pregnancies rolled in, the developers quietly patched them out and fixed the rate of alien abductions. Only one of the two fixes worked. Sim males are now able to become pregnant without alien abductions.
I'm thinking these aren't actual male pregnancies, but aliens slowly taking over the Sim world using the facehugger approach.
