In the beginning on 2015, The Last Guardian's trademark took us on an emotional rollercoaster. It all began with Sony allowing the game's trademark to expire, the trademark sat dead in the water for a week before Sony decided to breathe life back into it. It was a tough time to be a fan of the game (that never released).
Strap yourselves in folks, there's a new emotional rollercoaster about to take off. The Guardian is claiming that The Last Guardian will be making an appearance during at E3 2015. In a post recounting their most anticipated games of E3, the site revealed that they "have it on very good authority that this will be the year that Team Ico finally presents its follow-up to much loved classics Ico and Shadow of the Colossus."
The Last Guardian has been in development since 2007 and was initially revealed in 2009, since then there have been several upheavals at the development studio. One of the last statements released by the game's creator Fumito Ueda was that regardless of the "hardships" due to "an "unforeseen amount of time required than what was originally thought," the game was "making progress under completely new conditions."
I don't know if I can be excited by this. I have my fears, but I also want my precious.
