Soon after the release of Batman: Arkham Knight, its developer Rocksteady yanked PC sales of the final entry of the Arkham series, siting massive performance problems and issuing the following statement, “We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards. We greatly value our customers and know that while there are a significant amount of players who are enjoying the game on PC, we want to do whatever we can to make the experience better for PC players overall.”
It’s still not available for sale and won’t be for months yet, currently holding a vague Fall 2015 date. Though, if you purchased the game prior to the pull date, you’ve continued to receive updates, however, WB Games did just announce that the expected July 14th release of Batgirl: A Matter of Family won’t be happening for PC users. Both Rocksteady and WB Games have been pretty vocal in their apologies over the debacle stating, “We apologize for the delay and only want to make sure that any content that we offer is up to the standards that PC players expect."
