The Halo series has been defined not only by its captivating storyline, but by its multiplayer experience as well. The series launched with the original Xbox One and it is continuing its journey onto the Xbox One with Halo 5: Guardians with even more combat with Arena.
Arena will be a Halo's eSports focus with 4v4 mode, even stats and an 'intense' mix of slayer an objective game types. Looking to show off the new Colosseum map, Europe's pro-Halo team Epsilum eSports faced off against US OpTic Gaming at the 343 Industries headquarters.
Colosseum is a symmetrical two base map, built for the faced paced combat that competitive Halo brings. Halo 5: Guardians will be embracing competitive gameplay with the first ever Halo World Championship with a prize pool of $1 million. This championship will mark the biggest investment in Xbox eSports history and will begin this Winter.
Going back to the competitive game played during the conference, Epsilum beat OpTic gaming and won themselves a now available for pre-order, Xbox One 1TB Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Console.
Halo 5: Guardians is set to release in 85 days.
