Codemasters have released a new launch trailer in celebration of the release of Overlord: Fellowship of Evil today on both PS4 and Xbox One.
The last Overlord is long and gone, and our current hero Gnarl and his minions have been overrun by the forces of good. In order to maintain the overwhelming sense of evil in the world, Gnarl needs to summon the ghosts of four previous Overlords to form the Fellowship of Evil in order to dispel good from the land forever. Gnarl himself (well, you know what we mean) issued a statement on the matter as well:
“The forces of evil have had a few setbacks recently. Tinkly goodness is on the rise, spreading cuteness and hugs across our once corrupt and unpleasant land. So, we’ve called in a few reinforcements. Those who understand that evil isn’t just what you do, it’s who you are. These dark heroes will have to work together, or alone, to thwart the forces of shininess. But no one’s here to make friends, at least…not for long. So sharpen your weapons, dust off your minions and get with the carnage!”
Players will control the four summoned ghosts of Cryos, Inferna, Hakon and Malady and use their abilities in order to assist Gnarl eliminate good from the world forever. Overlord: Fellowship of Evil is available now on both Xbox One and PS4 as well as PC now digitally only.
