Today's Daily Heroic in Destiny is "Paradox," which means you can grab the three Praedyth Ghost memories required to start the mission that leads to the No Time To Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle.
For those unfamiliar with the secret, scattered throughout the "Paradox" mission in the Vault of Glass are three hidden Ghost memories. Once you've collected them all, a previously inactive portal will open up. From there, you'll need to perform a series of precision jumps to make your way to the portal. Once inside, you'll find a secret area containing a giant Vex boss as well as other enemies. The fight doesn't seem too hard, but once you complete it, you'll unlock a chest that contains something called the "Cult Ghost."
Once you take the Cult Ghost to Future War Cult's Lakshmi-2, you'll unlock the quest "Not Forged in Light." From there you'll perform a series of other tasks, one of which involves you revisiting the Vault of Glass raid. Once you complete all of the quests, you'll be rewarded with the No Time To Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle, which comes with 290 attack and a perk, "Rewind Again," which returns precition hits immediately to the magazine.
This quest is just another example of Bungie's goal in year two to limit the randomness of acquiring certain Exotics. Like Sleeper Simulant and Black Spindle, the requirements to start these quests are usually a mystery (which are time-gated); but, once you discover them you are guaranteed the exotic once you complete the quest line.
For those of you unable to collect the Ghost memories today, fear not, as "Paradox" will surely return as a Daily Heroic in the future.
