Microsoft files new game software trademark for ‘Roboraid’

Possible new Xbox One or Windows 10 game?

Part of Microsoft's big plans for 2016 could involve something called "Roboraid."

As spotted by DualShockers, the platformholder filed a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on January 11 under Class 9, designated as "game software."

At this point, the trademark offers no further details, so whether this "Roboraid" is a new game for Xbox One, Windows 10, or both remains to be seen.

Microsoft has yet to announce anything related to Roboraid, but it's possible we could have just discovered a potential new first-party franchise. Of course, that's just speculation. What we do know is that Microsoft's 2016 so far entails Quantum Break, Crackdown 3, and Gears of War 4.
