Legend of Zelda’s Temple of Time recreated in Unreal Engine 4 and you can play it

Now make the rest of Ocarina of TIme in Unreal Engine 4.

Nostalgia for games that consumed your youth isn't easy to smother, it's hard to forget the angular characters that defined our developing years. However, this nostalgia doesn't need to die — especially when we are in the age of remakes.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's 'Temple of Time' map has been recreated in Unreal Engine 4 by CryZENx and it's fully playable. You can download it through this link.

CryZENx suggests that everyone who downloads it only play it with a keyboard and mouse.

Here are the controls:

  • Moving around: ASDW buttons
  • Normal Attacking when not moving: Left mouse button
  • Forward Attacking (you need to move forward): Left mouse button
  • Loading Attack: Hold right mouse button
  • Release loading Attack: Release right mouse button
  • Jump Attack: E
  • Standing Still to get sword or put it away: Space bar
  • Navi hide it or come out when standing still: Space bar

The last year has been highlighted with a number of classic games getting a makeover in Unreal Engine 4, most recently we saw the PlayStation's Metal Gear Solid get the Unreal Engine treatment and Half-Life 2 got an Oculus Rift-friendly scene remade, but that's not all. Metroid was reimagined in Unreal Engine 4 and Super Mario 64 even got remade (although Nintendo took the download down nearly immediately)
