BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock: Infinite hit the Xbox One as latest backward compatible titles

I bought the Collection. Why?

If you spent money on BioShock: The Collection you might not be excited to hear the latest trio of backward compatible games. If you decided to wait on purchasing the remaster of BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock: Infinite, you're in luck – Microsoft has just revealed that the BioShock trilogy is now backward compatible for Xbox One.

That's right, whether you see it as a giant middle finger or a holiday surprise, the BioShock trilogy is officially available on the Xbox One as backward compatible titles.

This announcement wraps up all of the major games that Microsoft had been teasing since November 2015.

"You can expect new Xbox One backward compatible games to be announced on a regular basis, starting in December," wrote Microsoft's Larry Hryb. "More titles are on the way, including fan favorites like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and Skate 3."

So, there it is.
