[Watch] Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Pathfinder team gets detailed

The space dating sim is giving you a preview of the goods.

The cinematic trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda that released last week gave us a taste of what is to come in the game. The trailer highlighted a few things, like the main antagonist and at least one romanceable character – Lieutenant Cora Harper.

Harper, as well as her fellow teammates, have been detailed in a new video posted by IGN, which you can check out below:

The video offers details on your team in Mass Effect: Andromeda, including details on the Ryder siblings – one of which you'll be able to choose to play as, Lieutenant Cora Harper, Liam Kosta, and S.A.M., the implant Ai who is in your character's brain.

The Andromeda site offered more details on Harper and Liam, which you can see below.

Lieutenant Cora Harper

Cora

Human, Spaceborn

Cora joined the Systems Alliance to train her powerful biotic talents, eventually transferring to an asari commando unit before joining the Andromeda Initiative as Alec Ryder's second-in-command. Professional and loyal, Cora knows the rules well enough to bend them if necessary, lending huntress tactics and her biotic strength to the Pathfinder's mission.

  • Combat Roles/Strengths: Biotic Commando, Operations Specialist
  • Favorite Weapon: Shotgun
  • Favorite Biotic/Tech/Other Ability: Biotic Charge

Liam Kosta

Liam

Human, Earthborn

A crisis response specialist with civilian tactical training, Liam learned of the Andromeda Initiative after meeting former Alliance personnel at a "post-hostility relief action." His multi-disciplinary skills set him apart, and Liam was hand-picked to support the Pathfinder team. He’s an idealist, willing to take risks for the good of the Initiative.

  • Combat Roles/Strengths: Close range fighter, using his jump jet to move quickly, usually towards the target
  • Favorite Weapon: Overclocked Dual Omni-blades
  • Favorite Biotic/Tech/Other Ability: Havoc Strike. Liam leaps forward with his omni-blades to stun enemies and prime them for combo detonations.

The developers recently confirmed that the "banging" in Andromeda is "pretty good" and you can bet on being able to romance these two. In additional news, Andromeda will not have dedicated servers for multiplayer.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will release on March 21st on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
