E3 2017: Dishonored ‘Death of the Outsider’ announced With Release Date

The next story from Arkane Studios in the Dishonored world.

We've got to sit with Dishonored 2  for a few months now, but today at the Bethesda E3 conference, we were given something unexpected.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider was announced as a Billie Lurk (aka Megan Foster) focused expansion that will reunite Lurk with her mentor, Daud, in the dark underbelly of Karnaca. The goal is to kill the outsider.

This DLC will bring all-new powers, gadgets, and abilities to Dishonored and will act as a "perfect entry point for those new to the Dishonored series" according to Bethesda and Arkane. The game is a standalone adventure in the Dishonored series and does not act as DLC, but as a standalone entry.

It is technically an expansion to the Dishonored series as a whole and will allow players to play the game with 'signature abilities from Dishonored 2'  with the Original Game Plus (OG+) mode.

We can't wait for the new Dishonored, so we'll keep you updated as we get more information. The wait won't be long, as it was announced for release September 15, 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
