In the age of remakes and remasters, the sense of ownership over an intellectual property can be felt on both fan and developer in equal measure. The latest episode in Blizzard's StarCraft Remastered YouTube series displays as much, revealing that the game's small development team carries the same amount of love for the original game as the millions of fans who still play it today.

StarCraft: Remastered isn't far off as it launches on PC next month on August 14th. The game will maintain the same incredible balance that made the original so timeless while including a few modern upgrades to matchmaking and Cloud saving for campaign progress, custom maps, replays, and key binds.
The original StarCraft will soon be better than ever.
