Gamescom 2017: Xbox One X is now on sale; Project Scorpio edition announced

Go, go, go!

The monstrous Xbox One X was finally unveiled at E3 earlier this year after tons of teasing from Microsoft. The console boasts a ton of incredible new features such as 4K gaming and enhanced performance in a variety of games both new and old. While this isn't an essential purchase for everyone, hardcore gamers with a 4K TV looking for the most polished versions of their favorite games will want to pick one of these bad boys up.

The console won't be cheap so you'll likely want to pre-order it so you can save up for it before it releases and now you can do that. Many expected pre-orders to go live during E3 but due to FCC regulations, Xbox had to pass certification before they were allowed to put it up for sale.

Now, you can pre-order an Xbox One X at a bunch of various retailers including Amazon. For those who act fast, you can get an exclusive Project Scorpio edition. The Project Scorpio edition, named after the console's code name, will come packaged in a really awesome retail box that is a bit reminiscent of the original Xbox's packaging. The console and the controller themselves will have the words "Project Scorpio" etched into them.

Xbox One will launch on November 7th, 2017.
