Reports of leaked Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 copies have been sprouting up the past couple of days, but now we are beginning to see the repercussions of it – in the form of leaked game details and information.
In this newest leak, thanks to The Tech Game user "FanTaH" we have our hands on all of the Cod Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer mini-maps. Not much detail of can be made out from the images, except for the shapes and relative size of each map.
Looks like we're going to have 16 multiplayer maps at launch. There also seems to be a good mix of small close quarters, medium, and larger maps. Like I said, not much is revealed and I doubt this will provide anyone much of an advantage. But judging from the overall shapes and names they mostly appear to be urban and one dimensional, very similar to the maps in Modern Warfare 2. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing; I highly enjoyed the maps in MW2. Clearly, Activision isn't looking to reinvent the wheel with Modern Warfare 3, but that doesn't mean it won't be fun.
