According to the big boss himself, Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear fans who don’t mind dropping the extra cash could have the chance to pick up a limited edition release of Metal Gear Solid 4 when it eventually releases. On Kojima’s personal radio blog, Hidechan Radio, the developer disclosed that the idea of a special tin is currently being batted around at Konami. This should come as no surprise to MGS fans who remember the borderline ridiculous Portable Ops limited edition, which included a genuine snakeskin PSP case.
Given the Metal Gear series’ history of awesome premium edition content, there’s likely to be strong fan support for MGS4 getting the tin treatment. AMN will keep you updated.
