A little over a year ago, a web series based on Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl began, known as “There Will Be Brawl,” described by some as “Nintendo meets HBO.” Since then, it went on to enjoy some level of success, but as they say, all good things must come to an end.
The Escapist has announced that the New Year will kick off with the series finale of There Will Be Brawl this Friday, January 1st at Noon EST. To celebrate, they have some extra fun in store as well.
“For those of you out there who are badge collectors, we have re-opened the “Game Noir” badge which you can receive by watching all the past episodes of Brawl through the weekend. We also have other great coverage, including the main character breakdown, a Q&A with the creators of Brawl, an on-set video with members of the cast and a fun Quiz for all the fans out there.”
Since posting the first episode here a year ago September, I’ve caught a few episodes but kind of lost track. Maybe it’s about time I got caught up.
