High five to Warner Bros. Interactive who today announced a new game for the Nintendo Wii U. The publisher today announced Scribblenauts Unmasked – A DC Comics Adventure, a new game that likely plays exactly as the name suggests. Yes, the creative art style and gameplay of Scribblenauts will mix with the thousands of characters and intriguing universes from DC Comics in a new story where Maxwell embarks on an "imaginative and comical quest."
Throught the game, you'll visit several iconic DC Comics locations including Gotham City, Metropolis, and Atlantis. Maxwell will come to the aid of Batman, Superman, and the rest of the Justice League as you face off against some of the mightiest DC Super villains, including The Joker, Lex Luthor, and Sinestro. In typical Scribblenauts style, Maxwell will rely on his magic notebook to save the day.
Scribblenauts Unmasked will expand upon the traditional Scribblenauts puzzle-solving gameplay, introducing for the first time dynamically created puzzles called Heroic Feats. These will continuously generate original scenarios requiring different solutions to solve, increasing the game's replayability.
Additionally, a new Super Hero Creator tool — available only on the Wii U and PC version — will give you the ability to create your very own Super Hero or Super Villain using any item from the DC Comics universe. You'll be able to set properties for how the object behaves and change its appearance and powers. You'll then be able to share your creations with the community, or download others.
Scribblenauts Unmasked – A DC Comics Adventure is being developed by 5TH Cell. It is set for release this fall on Wii U, 3DS, and PC.
