Ubisoft has revealed two more missions for Watch Dogs, unlockable only through pre-ordering the highly anticipated game through select retailers. Both Amazon and GameStop each have their own, unique single player mission that can only be unlocked by buying the game through them.
The Palace Pack, available only at GameStop stores across North America, includes an investigation bonus and ATM hack boost. The investigation bonus unlocks exclusive investigation opportunities inside of the network, while the ATM hack boost will increase cash rewards when hacking into bank accounts. In addition to the Palace Pack mission, pre-ordering from GameStop will get you that exclusive poster designed by famed comic-book artist, Alex Ross.
Here in America, though, we like our options. Which is why pre-ordering from Amazon also comes with an exclusive single player mission that once completed, unlocks a unique Biometric Assault Rifle and the Black Viceroy's Outfit. The assault rifle has been "smuggled into Chicago for the captain of the Black Viceroy's gang" and only works for the first person to imprint their palm on the handle. To get this weapon, you'll need to "breach a stronghold, steal the package, and be the first to imprint the weapon."
Not the most exciting missions, but I suppose it's better than nothing when you pre-order. If this still isn't enough for you, remember that purchasing the Collector's Edition will include an additional 60 minutes of exclusive content. And if that's not enough, the PlayStation versions of the game also come with 60 minutes of additional gameplay. It's unknown exactly what that content will consist of though.
Watch Dogs is set to release on November 19 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and "other next generation consoles."
