Odds are you don't want to think about your mom and dad doing the nasty to procreate. I know, it's a perfectly natural thing — heck, it's how you are reading this here article. It's also how your character in Grand Theft Auto Online will come to be.
Speaking in the latest issue of Game Informer, Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies explained that your character in GTA Online, the multiplayer mode for Grand Theft Auto 5, will be created through "sexy time" with your character's mom and dad.
"I've always felt character creators in games to be a bit wacky – pulling the ears and noses to change the way they look seems wrong," Benzies said. "That's not how humans are made in the real world. Normally it involves a man, a woman, and some sexy time.
"This is the basis of how we do it in Grand Theft Auto Online: Choose your mum, dad, and grandparents, then out pops your character," he explained.
Benzies elaborated on the concept of character customization, revealing that you'll still spend time "choosing your lifestyle, making choices about the kinds of things your character spends time doing, whether they spend more time partying or sitting on the couch or doing criminal activities than sleeping and being athletic – your character is complete."
Although your character's skills are determined by the lifestyle you choose, you'll still be able to upgrade your various skills, buy new property, and customize your look by paying for haircuts, tattoos, and clothing.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is set to release next week on September 17, while GTA Online will launch shortly after on October 1st for free.
