Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is releasing the story-based downloadable content pack Initiation for Batman: Arkham Origins in December.
The Initiation DLC is a "new kind of challenge map pack that's got a little bit of a narrative to it," Ames Kirshen, the vice president of WB Games, told IGN. It follows a younger Bruce Wayne through training in a ninja monastery.
The developer also released three new sets of non-story DLC for the action-adventure game this week: the Infinite Earths Skins Pack ($5 on all platforms except Wii U, where it costs $4), which contains six costumes; the Black Mask Challenge Pack ($2); and the Online Supply Drop #1 ($3), which provides gear and weapons for multiplayer.
Infinite Earths' six new costumes are as follows:
- Earth 2 Dark Knight
- Long Halloween Batman
- Batman: Dark Knight of the Round Table
- Thrillkiller Batman
- Earth 2 Batman
- Classic Tim Drake Robin (available in multiplayer mode only on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC)
Batman: Arkham Origins launched on Oct. 25 for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. It suffered from a number of severe bugs.
