You can grow items from Mario's Mushroom Kingdom in the next Harvest Moon.
Harvest Moon: Connect to a New Land, which is due in Japan on Feb. 27 next year, lets players raise special crops: the signature red mushrooms, stars, and fire flowers from Nintendo's Super Mario series. You'll have to fulfill certain conditions to be able to grow them, though.
Connect to a New Land is launching for 3DS. It has not been confirmed for North America — at least, not yet.
