While revealed last week, 2K and Turtle Rock Studios have officially announced Evolve, an upcoming next-gen game that blends cooperative and competitive multiplayer experiences. How you ask? By pitting a team of four hunters against a single, player-controlled monster.
When playing as a hunter, you will experience Evolve through a first-person viewpoint; playing as the monster will be third-person. Other than that, details about the game are scarce, except for the just-announced pre-order bonuses you can get.
Pre-ordering the game at participating retailers will grant you the Monster Expansion Pack, which includes the Savage Goliath skin at launch along with a new monster character that will become available some time after Evolve releases.
Evolve is due in fall 2014 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
