Tonight's PlayStation 4 update (version 1.60) will not only bring Pulse Headset support to the system, but will also contain a number of "general stability improvements," along with the "ability to mute [the] camera." The additional notes come via PlayStation Europe community manager Chris Owen.

The update will be available for download some time tonight in the United States, and tomorrow in Europe. The main attraction seems to be support for the PULSE and PULSE — Elite Edition wireless headsets. Additionally, Sony also revealed a new Gold Wireless Headset, which features 7.1 virtual surround sound and a noise-cancelling internal microphone. The headset can be used at home using the USB wireless adaptor with your PS4, PS3, PC, or Mac for up to 8 hours (with a rechargeable battery). You can also use the headset with your PS Vita or other mobile device with the included 3.5mm stereo mini jack.
Sony didn't specifically mention when update 1.60 will be available for download, but we'll be sure to let you know once it goes live.
