Sure, most of the fun in Super Smash Bros. is seeing your favorite mascots duking it out against each other, using their signature powers. However, it's no secret that a lot of enjoyment comes from picking up the right item at the right time, and turning the tide in your favor. Nothing like a well thrown Pokeball, or a Beam Sword slash to turn the tables.
During today's Nintendo Direct, Sakurai unveiled a bunch of items players will find in the new Super Smash Bros.
There are a lot of returning favorites, though there are some new items like the Beetle and Fire Bar.
