The 40th season of Saturday Night Live kicked off on Saturday, September 27th. Chris Pratt, star of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, hosted, and Ariana Grande was the musical guest in what turned out to be a very solid opening episode. We saw a lot of NFL jokes, a fair amount of Guardians of the Galaxy references, and some of the unexpected, which is always good.
The last sketch of the night was called "Video Game." In it, three people are play testing a new video game, Puzzle World 6. There's two characters on screen, Chris Pratt being one of them, that cheer the player on and celebrate completed levels.
It's disturbing, to say the least.
