Pretty fascinating stuff when you stop and think about it. I mean, more time played than the entirety of human existence? That just shows the staying power Call of Duty has had over the years. But is the long-standing series bound to fall off any time soon? Call of Duty: Ghosts pre-orders, which are "well below" that of Black Ops 2, certainly seem to indicate so, although Activision has chalked it up to consumer hesitation heading into next-gen consoles.
