2K Games announces co-op multiplayer for Spec Ops: The Line

Today 2K Games revealed that cooperative multiplayer will be available for Spec Ops: The Line shortly after the game releases on June 26. The bonus content will be free for all players.

The DLC features objective-based scenarios set in Dubai after a series of sandstorms ravage the city. It includes four missions, each with unique goals, environments, and playable characters. The content supports two players.

The main game, developed by Yager, comes with a single-player campaign and a class-based online multiplayer mode. Single-player follows Captain Martin Walker as he searches for Colonel John Konrad and his missing battalion, the Damned 33rd.

Darkside Game Studios is responsible for the multiplayer component.

Spec Ops: The Line is slated for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Check out the new TV trailer below.
