3DS shooter Kokuga landing on Nintendo eShop this week

Under Defeat developer G.rev is launching its next game, the shoot-em-up Kokuga, in the West this week on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Nintendo lists the official release date as June 27, or this Thursday.

The game supports local and download play for up to four players as they destroy tanks, drones, gun towers, and more. It features nine weapons and 12 training missions, each culminating in a boss fight.

Ikaruga creator Hiroshi Iuchi worked on the game.
