3DS system update released; here’s what’s new

Nintendo has released a new update for its 3DS handheld system, but it doesn't seem to be anything to get too excited about.

Though Nintendo hasn't published official notes for the update, version 8.0.0-18U is said to make "further improvements to overall system stability." Additionally, other "minor adjustments" have also been made to "enhance the user experience."

It's not quite as fancy as May 2014's update which introduced new parental control features, or December 2013's 7.0.0-13 update which added Miiverse support and the ability  for owners to link their accounts with Wii U, but I guess overall improvements — as insiginifcant as they may see — are always needed.
