Aside from the initial announcements, there hasn't been much on Minecraft on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Either that or I just haven't been following the game as much as the die-hards. Either way, 4J Studios has provided a brief update on the game, confirming it "is running on both Xbox One and PS4."
The bad news is there's still no release date for either version yet. "There's a lot more work to do on both," the developer added.
As for the PS3 version, which was announced at the same time as the PS4, 4J is "still bug fixing."
"The bug list is getting shorter, but we're not there yet," the studio said. Minecraft is expected to release on PS3 before coming to PS4, though neither one has a launch date. A Vita version is also in the works, but I've heard nothing about that version either.
