Here's one way to ruin a child's Christmas if I've ever seen one. Mackenzie Blankenship, a little girl up in West Chester, Ohio unwrapped a copy of Splatoon this past Christmas morning to go along with her brand new Wii U that she opened the night before. When she went to open the case, inside she found a copy of Sensual Seductions 2 in place of the game, and as you might imagine, she was not happy.
Her mother, Krista Greider (who was even less happy about the incident) had bought the game the week before from Target. And given the fact that the game was purchased new (Target does not sell games if the seal is broken), it seems Sensual Seductions 2 made its way into the case somewhere at Nintendo.
Greider recounted the event to WLWT:
"I looked over her shoulder and I grabbed it. [I] saw the picture on it and she was just 'Why? What is that? Why are they naked?'"
She continued:
"Obviously this isn't Target's fault. They didn't manufacture it but I feel they as a distributor they should take some responsibility to get to the bottom of it so this doesn't continue to happen."
Fortunately, this kind of thing doesn't happen most of the time, but if for some reason you are concerned about the discs that come inside the case, it's best (and cheaper) to buy used games anyway. And between GameStop and Gamefly there are plenty of options to do so.
