One of the biggest film franchises of the early 2000's is back and it looks to be better than ever. During the new episode of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead, we got our first look at the brand new Pirates of the Caribbean movie titled Dead Men Tell No Tales.
The trailer shows a massive ship being boarded by a crew of the undead led by Javier Bardem's character, Captain Salazar, (not anything new for the Pirates series, of course) and interrogating a passenger on the whereabouts of Johnny Depp's iconic character, Jack Sparrow. The official synopsis for the film reads: "Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas."
It sounds like Sparrow has gotten himself into a lot of trouble, once again. How will he get out of this one? Will he ride on a giant wheel that rolls through a jungle or will he preform some other whacky hijinks that could get him out of this tight situation? We will find out when the film hits theaters on May 26th, 2017.
