A.N.N.E. completes Kickstarter with time remaining for more platforms

The indie platformer-shooter A.N.N.E., which we fell in love with last month, has met its Kickstarter goal of $70,000 with eight days to spare.

"Thank you so much guys!" reads the latest Kickstarter update. "Words can't express my gratitude. I did a trailer, pitch you my idea [sic], and you came forward and helped me on my journey to get this game done. For sure, the money is what will allow me to get the job done, but knowing that there are people like you out there that believe in my game, in me — just this is worth more than money."

With this milestone covered, fans can make a money rush to reach the various stretch goals that creator Moise Breton has set forth. They can also help secure the game on Steam Greenlight by flooding it with votes.

The first stretch goal unlocks Mac and Linux versions at $80,000. Since backers have already raised more than $75,000, there's a good chance they'll hit this mark as well.

A.N.N.E. is on schedule to release early-to-mid 2014 on PC, with other platforms to be determined. Ouya, PlayStation Network, PS Vita, and Wii U versions are all higher stretch goals.
