Able-HD is a sleek, portable monitor that could revolutionize LAN parties forever

LAN parties, while not the preferred way to play games with our friends these days, are still very much alive. Except, when it comes to LAN parties, the one thing you have to worry about is the haul of your entire PC. That means you have to pack up the desktop, the cables and your large monitor.

Thankfully, the fine folks from SFGroup have turned to Kickstarter (and with great success) to produce a 17" ultra-portable, lightweight monitor that can be used to display anything from laptops, desktops, consoles and even mobile phones.

However, the craziest thing about this monitor, is that it weighs less than an iPad, comes with a 1080p resolution, and actually costs under $150. Brilliant!

Since the Kickstarter already passed its $5k goal, that means we'll hopefully start seeing these gorgeously thin and portable monitors on the market one day, making the haul to LAN parties that much more bearable. You can check out the Kickstarter video below to see just how thin and light the monitor is, not to mention bright!
