Absurdist 1st-person adventure game, Maize releases its debut trailer

A government conspiracy surrounding a sentient cornstalk...you read that right

Here's something I'm sure you've never played. Maize is a first person adventure about a sentient cornstalk that was created by two chronically inept government scientists by mistake. Developer Finish Line Games describes the game as "an absurdist, first-person adventure with a cornucopia of highbrow puzzles to solve, talking oddities to meet, and mysteries to be harvested."

In Maize, players will explore a desolate farm above ground for clues to the past before venturing underground to a secret government research facility, all while making friends with equally odd friends along the way. One of these friends is described as "a grumpy Russian knock-off of the most technologically advanced toy ever created: Teddy Ruxpin." Weird doesn't even begin to describe it.
