Adult Swim’s new action platformer, Headlander releases big gameplay trailer

Headlander is a retro action-platformer with a name that's about as literal as it gets. Headlander is all about moving your character's head from one body to another in a world inspired by 1970's science fiction. In this world, "a utopia (has) gone wrong in which all of humanity have transferred their minds into robotic imposter bodies and are ruled by a deranged computer."

If this sounds like a totally off-the-wall concept for a game (and it is), that's because it's being developed by Double Fine Productions (makers of Psychonauts and Broken Age) and published by Adult Swim (Cartoon Network's late night animated comedy segment).

Headlander will be…heading to PS4 and PC in late July. Pre-order currently are open, but you can still wishlist it on Steam, so you can be….ahead of everyone else when they go live. OK, I'm done with the terrible puns.
