Alien: Isolation available for pre-purchase on Xbox Store

Soon, we won't be able to escape advertisements for horror movies or video games. Such is the nature of October.

October is bringing an extraterrestrial thriller amongst all of its other horror titles, but this one is finally up for pre-purchase on the Xbox Store.

I'm talkin' about Alien: Isolation here! Microsoft has allowed Xbox One owners to pre-purchase Alien: Isolation Nostromo Edition for $59.99 before it releases on October 7th. It you aren't familiar with the Nostromo Edition, it includes the full game of Alien: Isolation and the bonus content "Crew Expendable." This bonus content takes you into the film, Alien, by letting the player play as Ellen Ripley, Dallas or Parker (the original films cast). As one of the three you explore the Nostromo (ship) and coordinate ways to lure the Alien into the ships airlock.

Alien: Isolation will be available on October 7, 2014 for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
