Amazon discounts Xbox One games by $10

With few — if any — retailers offering Black Friday discounts on Xbox One games, you may be tempted to check out a new promotion Amazon is running for select next-gen games.

Currently, the online retailer is discounting a number of Xbox One launch games while also offering a year of Xbox LIVE Gold for $20 off; although, you must purchase an Xbox One game to get the Xbox LIVE discount.

Xbox One launch games Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts are all priced at $49.99, following a $10 discount. Purchasing one of these games will qualify you for the $20 discount on the 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold subsription card. With the discount, a year of Xbox LIVE Gold will cost you just $39.99, as opposed to the standard $59.99.

The Xbox One launch on Friday, November 22 and is currently sold out at most major retailers. Within the first 24 hours of release, over one million consoles were sold.
