Amazon releases new photos from ‘The Tick’ revival

Amazon releases a new set of photos from the upcoming revival of the superhero comedy, 'The Tick'.

One of the best animated series of the 90's for fans of all ages has to be the adaptation of the comic series, The Tick. If you're unfamiliar, the FOX Kids show centered on a big, blue leotard-wearing superhero simpleton, galavanting around the city with his flying sidekick, Arthur. Back in 2001, the first attempt at a live-action series let comedian Patrick Warburton don the azure spandex, but the show was not very well received and didn't make it to a second season.

Recently, Amazon announced it would be trying their own version of on for size. Starring british actor, Peter Serafinowicz, as the titular hero, the official synopsis reads as follows:

In a world where superheroes have been real for decades, an accountant with zero powers comes to realize his city is owned by a super villain. As he struggles to uncover this conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero.

Before the release, the studio has released a new series of photos from the premiere to whet your nostalgic appetite. Check them out on the next page!
