Amazon’s Prime Day promises more deals than Black Friday

Discounts of electronics, video games, movies with UNLIMITED two-day shipping

We're still months away from Black Friday, but that isn't stopping Amazon from creating its own day full of wonderful deals and discounts. On Wednesday, July 15th, the online retailer is hosting a global shopping event, dubbed "Prime Day," in which customers will find "more details than Black Friday." Considering Amazon has already challenged some of the world's largest companies for business, it only makes sense that it now turns its attention to the largest shopping day.

The one-day shopping event will offer Prime Members — customers who subscribe to Amazon's year-long membership — thousands of exclusive deals "from electronics, toys, video games, movies, clothing, patio, lawn and garden items, and more." These discounts will be hosted through Lightning Deals offered throughout the deal, as often as every ten minutes, and Deals of the Day. What's more, anything you buy will be shipped to you with unlimited free Two-Day Shipping, which is actually one of the perks of being an Amazon Prime member.

So what happens if you're not a Prime member? No worries, as Amazon will be offering a free 30-day Prime membership to anyone who isn't already a member so that they too can enjoy the sale.

This is going to be huge, folks. We won't keep you updated on all that other crap, but you can bet we'll be posting the great gaming deals all. day. long.
