And the Xbox One’s release date is…’later this year’

The last hour has been full of fantastic Xbox One news and announcements. We got a look at the future of Xbox gaming and how Microsoft's new system will interact with our living room. But what do we all really care about? The price and release date. We got one of those today… sort of.

The Xbox One will release worldwide "later this year."

Could Microsoft get any more vague? They didn't even give a "holiday window" timeframe, though I expect that's when it will launch. For now though, we'll have to settle for a "later this year" release. Hopefully we'll learn more about Xbox One's price and release date at E3 in June. Hey, at least we saw what the darn system looks like!
