Angry Birds Soaring to 3DS Later This Year

Angry Birds started off as a hit mobile download, and it didn’t take long for the game to fly over to other platforms such as the PlayStation 3 and PSP. And although a WiiWare version of the game had already been announced, developer Rovia Mobile confirmed that a 3DS version of the game would launch “later in the year.”

The developers have stated that they have plans of releasing all three Angry Birds titles for the handheld as digital downloads. No release date has been specified yet, but you can expect Angry Birds to hit the 3DS and WiiWare before the year ends. Stay tuned for release date details.
