It looks like Harley Quinn is going to have the opportunity to stand in the spotlight all by herself, instead of being the supporting character.
According to a report from Deadline, a 26-episode animated Harley Quinn TV series is in the works for Warner Bros.' upcoming DC-branded digital streaming platform. The animated show has been described as a half-hour 'adult animated action-comedy series' and is coming from Powerless executive producers Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker and Warner Bros. Animation's Dean Lorey.
The show will feature Poison Ivy, as well as "a whole cast of heroes and villains, old and new, from the DC Universe." The show will focus on Harley Quinn's life after she breaks it off with the joker and attempts to make her own name in the criminal world of Gotham.
When the show will release is unknown, it is currently an in-development project.
